SCOTTSDALE, AZ, UNITED STATES, October 20, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- America’s battery supply chain can start with its farms, wood-processing facilities and local biomass resources. SorbiForce is already turning these materials into carbon electrodes and using them in its batteries. The company is scaling its proprietary manufacturing technology to build a domestic supply chain from raw materials to finished systems.

SorbiForce has tested approximately 17 feedstock types and developed more than 30 carbon material variants. The feedstocks include agricultural residues, wood-processing byproducts and algae, with carbon materials derived from more than 10 types already integrated into its batteries.
The company engineers the carbon’s pore structure and surface properties for the electrochemical processes within its cells. This allows SorbiForce to manufacture electrodes from different regional resources rather than rely on a single raw-material stream.

“Battery independence starts with control over the materials and the technology to process them,” said Serhii Kaminskyi, Founder and CEO of SorbiForce. “We engineer our carbon materials around the resources available locally. That gives us a practical route to domestic battery manufacturing, with opportunities to lower production costs and put waste to productive use.”

The company’s U.S. sourcing work includes wood-processing residues in Arizona and biomass resources in California. SorbiForce is also in discussions with universities in Florida and North Carolina about regional feedstocks and scaling carbon production.
By connecting raw-material processing, carbon engineering, electrode production and battery manufacturing, SorbiForce is building a domestic production chain designed to eliminate reliance on overseas supply networks.

The company already operates small-scale battery production and is scaling manufacturing for critical infrastructure, including AI data centers. Its battery architecture combines rapid power stabilization with multi-hour energy storage using a nonflammable, water-based electrolyte. SorbiForce is also working toward certification for commercial deployment.
